Vicki and Tim were amazing hosts. Loved the breakfasts, especially Tim’s homemade blueberry pancakes. The superior room was spacious, very clean, and comfy. Could use a bit more parking space, but the experience was fantastic overall!

Liked our trip in this wonderful old hotel. The venue had a magnificent position, close to all the attractions. And it was also short walk to Easy to get to from Windermere Station, the lakes and both Bowness.
Nothing all excellent!

Oh mate, the breakfast was a winner! Tim's homemade flapjack and the tasty full English got us ready for our adventures every day. Plus, Vicki and Tim were great hosts, always ready with local tips.
The room was spotlessly clean, but a tad on the small side for our needs. Still, the charm of the place and the friendly vibe made it easy to overlook any cramped quarters.

Good breakfast and warm hosts
Their local tips led us to hidden gems around Bowness-on-Windermere.
While the double room was charming, a bit more space would have made it more comfortable, especially during late evenings after returning from our outings.

Quaint garden area, complimentary homemade treats, proximity to attractions
Some rooms felt cramped with limited floor space!!! Showers with fixed heads were uncomfortable!!! Parking was a real squeeze, particularly for larger vehicles!!! It could really use more shelves in the bathrooms!!!

A perfect getaway!
Just back from 3 nights and it was awesome! The owners were super friendly, always there if you needed them. Freshly cooked breakfasts hit the spot! The room was cozy, but I craved a bit more space sometimes. Still, the location couldn't be better, right near shops and eateries.

Couples looking for a cozy getaway
The warm welcome from Vicki was genuine! Tim gave us a detailed guide of local walks and sights which we hadn't expected.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but worth every penny considering the experience.
